Inner Renaissance Workshops (ten day intensive)

Live the dream of discovering your own limitless potential in Florence Italy. This ten day intensive life altering journey will springboard you into the vast power of your creative spirit! Classes in Creative writing, Art, and spiritual growth, are designed to help you connect to a deeper, richer, more infinite part of you!

Drawing inspiration from the Age of Enlightenment and the celebration of the human and our connection to the Divine, you will initiate a journey of the soul which will lead you to your own inner creative voice, and the ability to experience your six senses in a completely new way. You will have the opportunity to explore, discover and create from the spiritual source of the group, utilizing on site "plein aire" drawing, creative journaling. Mythic Story structure, Jungian Archetypes, Dreams, Personal Symbols, Students will create original works of visual art utilizing the Renaissance Masterpieces and focusing on their own inner psychospiritual growth. Exercises in psychotherapy, advanced meditation practices, self hypnosis, creative visualizations, Yoga, healing massage, and profound breathing exercises will help you move through physical, emotional, mental and spiritual blocks that limit your freedom and self expression. You will begin seeing and imagining the realities of human existence in new ways and extend your consciousness to new perceptions of our external and internal reality.

Extended Studies and Degree Program

We also offer one month and three month study programs which include housing, Cultural events and an opportunity to expand your creative talents.

Choose from a series of classes in Creative Art , Creative Sculpture, Creative Writing, Creative Film Making, Spiritual Growth and our children's School for the Creative Imagination. We will work with you to design an amazing experience personally to meet your unique needs and interests.

Degree Program

Give yourself the gift of living in Florence and delving into the creative infinite part of you. Our classes goes beyond the current conventional programs offered in most study abroad programs, into an inner journey of spirit that will help you explore and discover yourself and the vast wealth of creativity that lies inside of you! By unblocking your creative spirit and strengthening your connection with the Infinite, you will find the support and means of making your artistic works a success and transmitting your personal vision to society.

In our program we work with you to create a culturally rich and unique learning environment so you can receive inspiration from Florence the Italian culture and translate the into your highest creative capacity. You will work both individually and collectively with other students and one on one with your own personal mentor.

Our Core Classes
The first year you will be exposed to a broad array of mediums from which to choose your area of focus. You will delve into a personal journey of spirit to better understand yourself and the unique gifts and talents you have to offer. In the second year you will begin focusing on your preferred mediums and develop an independent project under the guidance of your chosen mentor. This project will be linked to your higher vision for humanity. Collaborative projects are encouraged but not required. You will present your project at the end of the program and have an opportunity to exhibit your work in Europe.

About our courses

Spiritual Growth
This class is the foundation of the program since it is through a free flow of your creative spirit that your creative nature can be fully realized. Through the use of therapeutic yoga postures, mediation, profound breathing techniques, creative visualization and psychotherapeutic exercises you will evolve your physical, emotional, mental and spiritual natures to live your life with a deeper connection to the Infinite within and experience a deeper level of joy and purpose in your life. Through meditation you will learn to navigate the more profound spiritual levels allowing you to access a higher spiritual electricity and radiate it into your life mission.

Creative Writing
This course is designed to instruct and inspire students in the creative process of story telling. Basic tools taken from Jungian archetypes, the hero's journey, mythic and fable structures will be employed with the focus of morphing beyond the current boundaries of literature. In short you will learn the basic rules and then how to break them in your own way. We will examine the current models employed by writers throughout the ages, in both film and literature, then encourage you to recreate your own new heroes, plots and visions from a more expanded level of consciousness. Thus creating stories that speak to the soul of the viewer and allow them to connect and evolve into a higher level of consciousness. This class seeks to help writers in their own personal journey of self discovery, accessing a higher part of themselves, then translating that into a higher vision which explores the human condition at a more infinite level and creates characters that engage in pyschospiritual epiphany's transcending the current limited models.

The class is for those who wish to be on the cutting edge of emerging technologies in the field of interactive communications and entertainment in a nurturing and artistically supportive environment.

Creative Arts
Drawing from the wealth of Art in Florence you have the opportunity to work with a broad range of medium such as drawing, painting, collage etc. You will learn the basic components of composition and be encouraged to develop your own personal style. You will learn to enter into the consciousness of Masterpieces extract it's highest essence and morph it into a higher reality. This will inspire you to create your art from a completely new and fresh level of spiritual creativity.

Creative Imagery
In this class you will begin with a relearning of you five senses and how to utilize them as an instrument of communication, as a way to discover your the world and communicate your personal inner world. You will enter the world of color and explore the meaning behind each color, its artistic relevance, as well as its philosophical ,psychotherapeutic, emotional and spiritual significance. Next your will journey into the world of imagery and symbols learning how to use images, light, color and sound to communicate your message on a higher spiritual level. You will delve into the collective subconscious and learn why certain images pack power while others leave us unaffected. You will enter into your own realm of supernatural images and symbols and learn how to interpret and utilize them to their highest communicative capacity.

In addition to your core classes you will have a choice of adjunct classes to choose from in Italian Language, Literature, Cinema, Art History, Music, Cooking, and many more options to personalized your learning experience unique to your interests and needs.

During the time of the Renaissance the catholic church was completely restructured and new religions emerged. Why? One of the man reasons was advancements in technology like the printing press. It took the written word out of the control of priests and put it directly into the hands of the masses. We stand on the threshold of such new innovations in technology. Self publishing has never been so easy and so readily accessible. The internet allows you to down load books, paintings, even movies. It is extinguishing the gatekeepers of the film and the publishing industry and making distribution accessible to the masses. Digital computer programs are making master pieces of cinematic art available to individual artists rather than only to the selective industry of motion pictures, and the masses are hungry for something new that touches their emerging collective conscious. There is no formula for success in the emerging field of entertainment except to thine own self be true. By tapping into the greater spiritual electricity present and channelling it into your own personal journey you will hit the mark. Carpe Diem! Children's Program
Drawing from the Art and culture of Italy and the use of creative story telling, Music, Dance, Art, Theatre and Creative Visualization your child will learn to use higher cerebral pathways in their brain to increase intelligence, creative thought and uncover their unique gifts and talents. This workshop is aimed at adding children in becoming highly successful and emotionally balanced adults that are able to contribute to society from an exalted level of consciousness and creativity.

Designed by a Mental Health Counsellor and author of Children's books and an elementary school teacher schooled in the Arts and Music this workshop will catapult your child into a deeper appreciation of the arts and his or her own creative spirit.
